The MobilCVL project
As part of the #ClimateDataHub initiative led by the Centre-Val de Loire Region, this project proposes to implement a solution for collecting, valorizing and displaying mobility data from high school students, in order to provide the Region with relevant dashboards for implementing an action plan to decarbonize mobility. Today, the Centre-Val de Loire Region lacks the tools to provide consistent, centralized and real data to draw up a realistic action plan for decarbonizing mobility in conjunction with schools. The 5-year objective is twofold.
- Reduce the impact of high school-related mobility by 10 points
- Duplicate the MobilCVL use case to other topics impacting the ecological transition (mobility and tourism for example) and make the Climate datahub platform the reference for steering the subject within the Region.
MobilCVL will also accelerate the Climate datahub initiative, which is fully committed to serving the region's ecological transition, and experiment with a sovereign datahub solution based on Gaia-X standards. This use case has been developed with Transdev, Orange and Ekimetrics.
Green Tourism Target
In 2022, the first ever restrictions were introduced to regulate water consumption for leisure activities. This trend is accelerating in water-stressed regions, which are often the most touristic, but tourism professionals have no consolidated, up-to-date view of their consumption of scarce resources (energy, water, etc.), limiting the ability of public authorities to act. Green Tourism Target will propose a dashboard and a simulator to target and evaluate public policies in terms of water resource management. The 5-year objective is to put tourism on the path to achieving major national environmental objectives (Water Plan). This solution is a new use case for the France Tourisme Observation platform, created by Atout France (the French government agency in charge of tourism development) with datahub Cleyrop, Enedis and Suez, to steer, relaunch and transform the French tourism industry by pooling the data of all its players.
"Itwaswith this ambition that we convinced the jury of TechSprint, a marketplace challenge designed to promote the development of innovative data services to accelerate the country's ecological transformation. Faced with the first restrictions in history to regulate water consumption for leisure activities, and a growing need for sobriety, territories and tourism professionals have no consolidated, up-to-date vision of their consumption of rare resources (energy, water, etc.), which limits their ability to act. With our #GreenTourismTarget project, we want to provide them with a dashboard and a simulator enabling them to target and evaluate public policies to reduce consumption," comments Stéphane Messika, President and co-founder of Cleyrop.
